"Hold On" follows Lucia Kickam, a passionate dance artist, as she grapples with the emotional and physical challenges of pregnancy following a previous loss. Despite her excitement for the impending arrival of her child, Lucia is haunted by the memories of the loss of her first pregnancy and miscarriage, struggling to forgive herself and trust her body again.
Through introspection and a newfound commitment to self-care, Lucia begins to soften her approach to pregnancy, embracing relaxation techniques and body practices to alleviate tension and anxiety. As she embarks on this journey of self-discovery, Lucia finds solace in the support of her partner and the shared experiences of others who have faced similar struggles.
As her pregnancy progresses, Lucia's connection to her body and her art deepens, allowing her to navigate the challenges of performance while honoring the changes within herself. With each movement, Lucia embraces the beauty of her evolving identity, finding strength and resilience in the face of uncertainty.
